You would come across many genres of movies but there are only a very few that actually become trendsetters. In the recent past, the quantity has come down when it comes to family oriented thrillers. One film which reminded that is Drushyam.
Featuring Victory Venkatesh in the lead, the film garnered a lot of patronage from the audience. The original was from Malayalam which had superstar Mohanlal in the lead. Now, another movie from the same hero is being touted as another Drushyam.
Apparently, Mohanlal is arriving with the new movie Kanupapa which is the dubbed version of the film Oppam in Malayalam. The film is scheduled to be released on 30th December and it is heard that this also has shades of a thriller with family sentiment. Let us wait and watch.
