There was a time when touching the 100 crore mark was a Herculean task for the Telugu movies while it was a cakewalk for the Bollywood folks. However, even that obstacle has been cleared thanks to the patronage of the Telugu audience and the nice movies.
The recent release Khaidi No 150 opened amidst huge expectations and as per latest collection reports, it has not disappointed. Sources reveal the overall gross collection for the film is 108 crores and the estimate is that it will reach 150 crores for sure.
The reason being, the collections are still going strong across many theatres and the occupancy is nearly 70 percent. The situation is same even in overseas and if the same trend continues throughout this weekend then the 150th movie will touch 150 cr for sure.
