Nenu Local Plot:

When Keerthy start loving Babu, Keerthy's father (Sachin Khedkar) annnounce daughter marriage with SP Siddharth Varma (Naveen Chandra). What happens now? Whom did Keerthy marry in the end? reveals the rest of the film's story.

Performances:

Natural Star Nani delivers an energetic performance in the film. As usual, Nani fits into the shoes of a casual fun loving guy and brings his best. His natural acting and simple humor worked big time. His comic timing was improved a lot with the movie.

This is Keerthy Suresh's second straight Telugu movie. Keerthy Suresh is looking good and impressed with a decent performance in the film.

Naveen Chandra's transformation is impressive. His performance is good in the negative shaded role. This film might land him in more opportunities.

Sachin Khedkar is good as a loving and caring father. But RCM Raju's voice sounded bad for him.

Actors like Posani, Thulasi, Eeshwari, Vennela Kishore, Krishna Bhagavan, Rao Ramesh and others did justice for their roles.

Nenu Local Analysis:

Nenu Local starts off with an interesting note and constantly turns into a boring ride. That's what we get to watch in the first half of the film. The first half of the film introduces us to the characters of the film and takes us into the story. The story by Sai Krishna is good but Trinadh Rao Nakkina and his team are constantly making movies by following a formula. This became outdated. The story completely revolves around hero-heroine-heroine's father. We have already witnessed this in Cinema Chupistha Mawa. Nenu Local is an extension of Cinema Chupistha Mawa where we are shown different actors in different situations but the central concept was unchanged.

The are several lags in the first half. We keep yawning in the theatre thinking about stepping out in the interval. The first half is the film needs some trimming. The twist is predictable and it was executed well. The second half is good when compared with the first half of the film. There is a lot of good stuff in the second half. The comedy is a major highlight in the movie. When we expect a routine add abrupt climax, the director surprised us with a convincing climax which was well written. The dialogues by Prasanna Kumar deserves a special mention. Nani pushes the climax to the next level with his acting skills. On a whole, Nenu Local is all about Nani and his natural game to win his love!

Merits:

- Nani
- Comedy
- Dialogues

De-Merits:

- Routine Story
- Slow First Half

Music:

The music scored by Devi Sri Prasad was good. The audio album is already a big hit. The background score is the film is okay but it could be a lot better. The violin but in the background was repeated multiple times.

Others:

The songs in the first half act as speed breakers. The cinematography of the film is good. The songs were picturized nicely. The editing could have been crisp. The art work is impressive. The fights are good. The production values are rich.

Nenu Local Verdict by iQlik:

Nenu Local is that regular film we don't wish to watch because of the predictable story and routine screenplay but Nani adds lot of energy and fun to the film which is a saving factor. Nani's one man show all the way.
