Despite stressing several times that no matter how good a subject is or how powerful the star cast is, if a film doesn’t have the right promotional mechanism, it is going to fizzle out in the theatres. The same applies even to Hollywood range of movies.
The latest example for that happens to be the much awaited movie Kung Fu Yoga. The main reason being, this has the international martial arts legend Jackie Chan in the lead and he has made it a Desi treat with quite a few Indian stars in it.
The film has released but is getting lukewarm response. The trade analysts attribute it to the weak promotions and bad positioning. Not many know that the film has come. Since the likes of Sonu Sood, Amyra Dastur, Disha Pathani are in the movie, let us wish one big push happens.
