Tollywood is growing by leaps and bounds with each passing day and a new wave of filmmakers are emerging from it. When you look at them closely you would notice that most of them have come from Software background quitting their jobs and passion for cinema.
While their passion is understood, here is the shocking reality. It is being observed that while their vision for a story is good, the real deal happens when the shooting begins. Cinema is an amalgamation of 24 crafts but not many aspirants have a hold on that.
So, while many are coming with a strong desire to become directors, their inability comes out once the shooting begins and this has a compound effect on the producer and hero as well. Hence, it is advisable that aspirants first learn the craft by becoming an assistant director for a feature film and then get into the next level.
