To those of you who are familiar with athletics and star performers of the yesteryears the name of Ashwini Nachappa would ring a bell. Her fame was so strong that even a movie came on her life many years ago. Now, it appears that a second record may happen.
It is known that discussion is happening about a biopic on the current badminton ace P V Sindhu and this is being produced by the chiseled hunk Sonu Sood. Grapevine is making strong rounds that Sindhu might just do the lead role or an important role.
If this is true then she would become the second sportswoman to do her own biopic. Apart from sportswomen, the senior actress Sudha Chandran did the role of herself in the movie Mayuri which came way back in 1984. For now, all eyes are on Sindhu’s story.
