Reminding the fundamental duties of a media channel, noted music composer RP Patnaik on Thursday took to Facebook and ripped into the recent activities by Telugu news channels.
For having missed the prominent Memorial Day of former president APJ Abdul Kalam, RP took a swipe at media and he also fired at them for gratuitous news & unwanted speculations pertaining to drugs scandal. The musician, who directed & acted in a media-centric film Manalo Okkadu, also blamed Telugu News channels for projecting Mumaith Khan on TV rather than educating people about the 14th President of India- Ramnath Kovind.
Up to a point, we completely admire the unswerving work of media and journalists, but it is definitely not acceptable if it fails to forget its actual mechanism while trying to grab TRPs.
