You might hear the result or fate of a movie from different people but it is ultimately the collection figures which decide the result. Last Friday it was the release of the much hyped Nakshatram which was helmed by the creative genius Krishna Vamsi.

While there is a unanimous talk that the film is a disaster, here is a business report. The entire movie was made at a budget of Rs 13 crores. Sources reveal that the arrangement in Naizam territory was different. They pay 2 crores advance deal and if the film doesn’t work full refund is given.

But if it works then 20 percent will be retained as profit and the rest would be retained. But here is the business report. The other territories were sold comfortably and overall 11 cr business has been done. The satellite price came at 3.25 crores.

It is heard that the Hindi film rights were sold for 75 lakhs, Andhra Ceded went for 6 crores. The overseas rights were sold for 75 lakhs. At the most there would be around 1 to 1.25 cr deficit but then the producer is safe while the distributors are gone.
