It is already known that Sekhar Kammula wanted Mahesh Babu to essay Varun Tej’s role in the film Fidaa. However, sources say that the director had scripted this film with Pawan Kalyan in mind and reportedly suggested the same to Dil Raju.
The second half was expected to have shades of Khushi, even as Sekhar Kammula seem to have not narrated this story to Pawan, for reasons which are not known. This is also called the irony in film industry related to casting.
