You might be proud that Tollywood is India’s second largest moviemaking industry and in fact, it is coming up with much better quality flicks than Bollywood. As a result, many Mumbai based and other beauties are gunning for a position in the Tollywood heroine market.
In this process, the local Telugu beauties are getting a raw deal. This is more in the case of the big heroes who are constantly eyeing the Bollywood market for their leading ladies. Few cine intellectuals say if looked at closely, our industry has some decent beauties who have good promise.
For starters, there is Shivani, daughter of Rajasekhar- Jeevitha. Till recently the seductive eyed Anjali was there but she has disappeared. Else there is Eesha Rebba, the big eyed cutie pie Nandita, Sobhita Dhulipala and few others but the big heroes are not keen to work with them. This is indeed a setback for our beauties.
