There were several talks about Nani acting under ace filmmaker Maniratnam's direction. Actors like Vijay Sethupathi, Fahad Fassil, Jyothika, Simbhu and others are roped in for the project too. But, Nani seems to have confirmed that he is not a part of this project.
Getting into the details, Nani's close sources seem to have confirmed that he is not a part of Maniratnam's next. There were talks that even Ram Charan might act in this movie. All these talks seem to turn out as mere rumors now.
Nani is all busy working for his upcoming movies Krishnarjuna Yudham and MCA, while Maniratnam's project is to take off by the end of January. Maniratnam's last movie Cheliya did not have much impact at the box-office. So, a lot of care is being taken for this project. More details will be out soon.
