Super Star Rajinikanth's much-awaited movie 2.0 was supposed to hit the theaters earlier, but due to the delay in the CG and graphics works, the movie got postponed to summer 2018. As the release of 2.0 was pushed to April 27, there was quite a confusion.

Tollywood producer Bunny Vas who is one of the producers of an upcoming film Naa Peru Surya- Na Illu India, was concerned about the release, as he was worried that this project would be affected. The movie stars Allu Arjun in the lead role.

Even Mahesh Babu's Bharat Anu Nenu is slated for the release during summer (April) and hence there was a concern prevailing. But, now it seems like everything is clear for Na Peru Surya and Bharat Anu Nenu to hit the theaters, as 2.0 is not going to get released in this summer.

The makers of 2.0 wanted some Hollywood's technicians to work with the CG and VFX of 2.0. The technicians opinioned that it would take a long time to fix all the graphics for 2.0. So, the makers of the movie are to postpone and the movie 2.0 is only to hit the theaters during Diwali 2018.

While Super Star Rajnikanth's fans are upset over the postponement, the makers of the other movies are happy that 2.0 is out from the box-office competition.
