Becoming a big name in the regional circuit is something appreciated but the real deal is when you are able to step into the big Bollywood and make a mark for yourself. Many heroes from the south have attempted that and success didn’t really favor them. However, the case of ‘King’ Akkineni Nagarjuna is different.
He has done quite a few movies in Hindi and scored sizeable success. ‘Shiva’ ‘Drohi’ ‘Khuda Gawah’ ‘Criminal’ ‘Zakhm’ is his Hindi ventures and almost all of them worked at the box office. Now, after a good hiatus, Nag is all set to hit the Bollywood screens. This does come as a surprise but it is true.
Sources from Annapurna studios reveal he is going to do a straight Bollywood movie and that too in a lead cop role. The details of this project are being kept under tight wraps and an official announcement will be made soon. It would be interesting to see how the Hindi folks will receive Nag now.
