In the USA, Agnyaathavaasi first day collections crossed the record of Baahubali 1 by minting 1.6 Million US Dollars (nearly 9.6 crores in Indian currency). It stands second in the USA standings as Baahubali 2 still enjoying the first place.
Coming to our India, Agnyaathavaasi recorded some superb figures by collecting Rs 9 Cr (gross) & Rs 6 Cr (share) on the first day in Telangana state and Rs 29 Cr (gross) & Rs 20 Cr (share) in Andhra Pradesh. These collections clearly erased the previous Baahubali records in some areas and emerged as best.
Well, these collections may see a dip as the two films- Jai Simha & Gang are releasing tomorrow and this thing may affect the Agnyaathavaasi collections. On the other hand, Agnyaathavaasi movie got the negative talk which becomes the hurdle for the collections going forward.
