Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyathavasi hit the screens worldwide on 10th January. With mounted expectations, the movie got highest first-day collections from worldwide screenings. Shattering down all the expectations, the movie turned out to be a big disappointment.

Even with the mediocre reports, Agnyathavasi maintained a good run at the theaters breaking all the non-baahubali-2 records. Here is the day-2 report of Agnyathavasi at Guntur and Krishna centers. Agnyathavasi collected Rs.26 crores on the release day. The area distributor of Guntur had bought Agnyaathavaasi’s rights for 9 crores. Seems he has already recovered slightly less than 50% of his investment and the Sankranthi effect may increase the collections.

On the other hand, Krishna area distributor earned a whopping amount of Rs.29,66 lakh on the release date, while there is a huge drop in day-2 collections and the total collection ended with Rs.2.15 Crs in two days. While some are being optimistic that the movie will withstand as Sankranthi is around the corner, while the others believe the collections would drop with the release of Jai Simha and Gang.
