Though the film industry is all about glitz and glamour the fact remains that it is predominantly male and all the 24 crafts are filled with them. However, in the recent years, women have started foraying into these departments and some of them are able to make a mark for themselves. The talk now is about the lyricist's department.
Apparently, one girl has been creating ripples through the power of her pen. Her name is Shreshta and she has been a songwriter since few years. Her best moment came when she wrote songs for movies like ‘Pelli Choopulu’ and ‘Arjun Reddy’. Shreshta made her debut in the year 2012 and it was a dream start.
She was the single card writer for the movie ‘Oka Romantic Crime Katha’ and since then she has been part of the song world. With many chartbusters to her credit, Shreshta has gone into top league and it would be interesting to see how she is going to come up. For now, here’s wishing the best of success to Shreshta.
