When a prestigious awards event is on the anvil it is only fair that due chance must be given to deserving movies and its teams and then the winner is selected. However, what do you do when all the categories have only one film becoming the hot favorite and only their team taking the awards? A situation like that is expected in Tollywood now.
The year 2017 had a good number of hits but the best among them was the magnum opus ‘Baahubali-The Conclusion’. Helmed by the tough taskmaster S S Rajamouli, the film became a sensation across the entire nation and even the foreign audience. As a result, it is only natural that all the awards are given to the same movie.
Since a clean sweep is expected by ‘Bahubali -2’ sources say the Tollywood folks are confused. They are keen to do justice to other movies as well. Some are also advising that a special set of awards should be given to the team of ‘Baahubali’ and the rest of the awards can be given to the other movies. Hoping for the best!
