The season of biopics is currently on in the Tollywood circuit and this fever originally caught up from Bollywood. Anyhow, there is ‘Mahanati’ based on the legendary Savitri and three biopics being made on the great N T Rama Rao. Before they can hit the screens, another biopic of one great personality is announced.
It is the biopic of the late Y S Rajasekhar Reddy. It is known that YSR was the backbone of the Congress party since long and his untimely demise changed the whole future of Andhra Pradesh. Now, it is heard that director Mahi V Raghav is all set to helm the biopic in a very ambitious manner and a big budget.
He has already roped in Malayalam megastar Mammootty for the lead role. With this, the cine folks are speculating on how the tussle between NTR Biopic and YSR Biopic is going to be. Of course, there is a strong chance that a significant gap would come for their releases. Keep watching this space for further updates.
