There was a time when competing with Bollywood itself was considered a big thing for the regional circuits. However, the Tollywood folks always thought ahead of their time and their confidence has paid off. Today, many movies from Telugu are imported to Bollywood and even the standard of making has surpassed Bollywood.
Now, one movie which is currently in the offing is targeting the Baap of all woods, Hollywood. We are talking about the film ‘Hiranyakasapa’ featuring the towering hunk Daggubati Rana in the lead role. It is heard that this movie is being made with a very ambitious target, they want it to be on par with Hollywood.
Buzz is that if need be, they would not hesitate to increase the budgets and it is being shaped up to be bigger than the magnum opus ‘Baahubali’. The final touch is, this is being helmed by the grandeur director Gunasekhar who has the record of overshooting budgets all times. But that is not an issue now because it is heard that few Tollywood biggies are involved.
