Since the last few days the one name that is making hot rounds in the Filmnagar circuit is that of director Devi Prasad and interestingly, the reason for this is his acting and not his filmmaking. He was seen as the father of hero in the recent release ‘Needhi Naadhi Oke Katha’ and has scored a lot of brownie points.
Now, it is heard that Devi Prasad is getting bits of advice from his friends and well-wishers. They are saying that he must do only movies that have big heroes and not go towards projects which have small heroes. They are saying by doing so, Devi Prasad’s graph and stardom will increase giving him more stature.
However, if he does small and medium budget movies it won’t work. As such, there is always a fine line between TV, small movie, and a big movie. It takes a lot of time to get into the next level but once you are in the big movie league and earn that tag then you can anytime step down a bit and do the other range movies.
