Salman Khan Convicted, Found Guilty

Finally, the Jodhpur court had convicted Bollywood star Salman Khan for killing two blackbucks. Salman Khan has been convicted of the acquisitions that he had killed two blackbucks in October 1998.

The other Bollywood actors Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Neelam and Sonali Bendre are acquitted in this case, as per the reports by a prosecution lawyer. There is another person who is acquitted in this case. He is Dushyant Singh, a local from the area. Mahipal Bishnoi, the prosecution counsel, told to the reporters.

On October 1, 1998, during the shooting of the film "Hum Saath Saath Hain", Salman killed these blackbucks which belong to the family of antelopes. Salman Khan was found guilty of killing the animals and has been sentenced to jail. He is subjected to punishment under Section 9/51 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act which proposes a maximum of 6 years in the jail. But, the court seems to have given a sentence of 2 years of jail for Salman Khan.  The complete details of the court's sentence are to be out soon.
