In the last two decades, the power of media has grown exponentially and what was a medium of bringing truth to the common man emerged as a very promising field for the political leaders. In the case of the Telugu states, the number of news media channels is large and hence there is a constant race for TRP amongst them.

In this process, there are those times when certain incidents happen which don’t go well with everyone. One such incident has been the call by power star Pawan Kalyan to ban few channels for their manipulative approach. This was reportedly seconded by mega mastermind Allu Aravind. However, the intellectuals beg to differ.

They state that banning media is just not possible because the relationship between the film industry and media is like wife and husband respectively. Also, there is no strong evidence or reason to really take Pawan’s call seriously and ban media because that’s realistically not possible. The only solution is to adapt and move forward.
