Ever since the biopic on the great N T Rama Rao has been announced, the project has been going through various twists and turns even before its release. For starters, the film was to be helmed by the talented director Teja and he walked out of it in between. Now, there are reports that the intellectual director Krish has taken the mantle.

On the other hand, there have been few challenges regarding the casting too and here is an interesting update. It is heard that the makers have been trying hard to find the right person for the role of Basavatarakam, wife of N T Rama Rao. After going through many efforts, they have now been able to lock the person.

She is none other than the versatile performer Vidya Balan. Buzz is that Vidya had actually rejected the offer when she was initially approached but for some reason, she has now agreed to get into the project. Buzz is that she would be joining the shooting from July onwards. As such, nothing great is happening for Vidya in Bollywood so let us wish this important role creates the magic.
