The general practice among the cinema industry folks is that if a movie works, they either sell it in other languages for dubbing rights and if they feel it is much more powerful than that, they sell the remake rights. But like the fundamental remains, all this happens only when the film becomes a sizeable hit at the box office.

However, here is one movie which became a colossal disaster at the box office in Telugu but is now being considered to be remade into Hindi. We are talking about the movie ‘Spyder’ featuring superstar Mahesh Babu and helmed by A R Murugadoss. Buzz is that the Hindi version is going to hit the floors soon.

Apparently, both the hero and director feel this has national appeal material and that is why the remake thought has come. As such, ‘Spyder’ came in Tamil at that time and it worked decently well but that’s not the case with Telugu. Anyhow, the makers feel it is a subject which has a national appeal so let us wait for the official announcement on the Hindi version.
