Story Line: Jai(Sai Dharam Tej) and Keshav (Prasanna) study together in the childhood. Keshav grows up to be notorious and he even gets involved in terrorist activities. Whereas Jai grows up with discipline and aims to join DRDO as a scientist.
How Jai and Keshav get to encounter with each other, how Jai manages to get involved in an operation by DRDO and what happens next is to be watched in theaters only.
Roles and Performances: Sai Dharam Tej: Sai Dharam Tej's action has improved a lot. He looks fit and apt as Jai. He has acted well in emotional scenes too. Prasanna: He has given his best as an antagonist. Mehreen: Mehreen adds glamour to this movie. She looks elegant, especially in the song Bugganchuna. All the other actors justified their roles well.
A well-written script and is executed well too. The Tom & Jerry fight between the hero and villain is a huge plus which keeps the audience captivated. There is action, there is emotion.
Finally, 'Jawaan' is not just the one who protects the country in the border but also every citizen who gives his everything to protect the country- is the message
Technical Aspects: Production values are good. KV Guhan's cinematography is really good. BGM & Songs by SS Thaman is a plus. Story is neatly interwoven with a good screenplay.
