Be it a television serial like 'Shanti Nivasam' (2002) for which he apparently worked 17hrs a day or be it a movie like 'Magadheera' (2009) which took two long years of arduous efforts, he is a workaholic and is called "Rakshasudu" instead by maven directors like K. Raghavendra Rao out of love! While he used to assist his father V. Vijayendra Prasad (a renowned writer), he used to narrate stories to producers on behalf of his father but at the end of the day, he would be disappointed seeing those films turning down his expectations. This inspired him to be a storyteller himself translating his dreams into reality. Starting with an out and out entertainer 'Student No: 1' to 'Eega' till date, Rajamouli loves to play around different genres and whatever he attempts, it's a Midas touch! 
 
His path breaking films 'Magadheera' and 'Eega' have pronounced the existence of Telugu film industry at the national level winning national awards.
