It was considered a crazy combination of young tiger Junior NTR and speed director Puri Jagannadh and many were certain that Puri was determined to give a big hit to NTR to make up for their earlier disaster Andhrawala. From his end, NTR gave an astounding performance and changed his physique as well. The entire flavor of the movie was nice but it could not appeal to the family audience owing to the large dose of violence and mass elements. Still, it managed to get into the safe zone.
