Since the time the film started its promotions, it gave a feeling that it is something different. The presence of natural star Nani added more to the hype and it also gave confidence that new wave cinema is accepted by the Telugu audience if it has the right content. This film also gave rise to a potential star in the form of Vijay Devarakonda. While it may not fit into the big star project, the film caused enough buzz and collections to make it to the safe zone and the investors happy.
