Good news for all the Ranbir Kapoor fans. It is confirmed that the star would be attending a film festival in Hyderabad. The 18th International Children’s Film Festival is scheduled to be held on 14 th November, 2013 at the Telugu Lalitha Kala Thoranam in Hyderabad. Hyderabad movies has been very popular among the viewers and the industry has given plenty of acclaimed actors, producers and directors over the years. This year, the inclusion of Ranbir Kapoor would surely increase the popularity among the fans.
The primary target is to popularize and encourage children movies in India. The move is strongly being supported by another Bollywood star, Salman Khan, who would not be able to attend physically due to his preoccupation with the shooting of the film “Jai Ho” , but is promoting the cause diligently through the media. The Children’s Film Society, India, (CFSI) has modified the festival mascot, the golden elephant. They are of the opinion that children are the backbone of our society and therefore the entertainment world must understand and cater to their needs. The event would also see Child actors, 16-year-old Darsheel Safary who did a praiseworthy job in ‘Tare Zameen Pe’, and 12-year-old Saloni Daini who appears in ‘Comedy Circus’.
The guest of honour would be the eminent lyricist Gulzar. Mr. Amole Gupte, the CFSI chairman would also be present. Besides, actor and playwright Amol Palekar wouldalso be available for the occasion In addition, several Tollywood celebrities are also expected to grace the festival. This would be a great moment for Telugu Cinema as the festival begins. The international children’s film festival is scheduled from November 14 to November 20 and Hyderabad is the permanent venue for the same. The principal place for the event would be the Prasads Imax where the movies would be screened in two theatres. Thus, the fans would be eagerly waiting for Ranbir Kapoor and hope the event to be a major success.
