Rabhasa is an upcoming Telugu movie, releasing tomorrow. It is an entertainer belonging to the action/ romance genre. The film is being released as a celebration of the special occasion of Vinayaka Chaviti. The movie buffs have already started the booking of the tickets in advance. This is being done by online booking. Rabhasa is expected to be a typical fun and action drama flick, and is likely to be a commercial mass entertainer. Thus, the film promises to give a pure Telugu style meal for the fans, who wait to be entertained by such movies and their glitz and glamour. Primarily launched in Hyderabad, the film was shot at the Banjara Hills. A large part of the film has been shot in the film studios like Annapoorna, Ramanaidu and Ramoji Film City, along with the picturesque outskirts of the city. But, many scenes of the film have been shot in Jaipur and Pollanchi. One of the songs featured in the film has been shot in Switzerland.
Cast and crew of the film
The film stars N. T. Rama Rao Jr., or, as famously known, NTR, in the lead role. NTR with his huge base of fans is one of the primary reasons the film is expected to be to hit, even before it has even hit the theatres. He will be seen romancing the beautiful and well- loved actresses, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Pranitha Subhash on the screen in the film. Apart from these actors, the others who will grace the film with their presence are, Brahmanandam, Jayasudha, Nassar, Ali, Sayaji Shinde and Bramhaji. Santosh Srinivas is the director of the film which has been produced jointly by Bellamkonda Suresh and Bellamkonda Ganesh Babu. The director has also played the part of the writer of the film. The cinematography of the film has been taken care of by Shyam K. Naidu, while the editing has been done by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. The soundtrack of the film has been composed by the very talented S. Thaman, who has created some of the best tracks in the recent films of the Telugu industry. NTR will be slippin into the shoes of a singer for this film, as he has done in quite a few other films.
Double Impact of Rabhasa
Double releases of films are always a problem for both, the fans, as well as the movie makers. Movie goers find it a difficult decision to make when it comes to choosing between the films. On the other hand, the film makers lose out some of their audience to the other film. This same double problem is likely to arise for Rabhasa, as well. This is because, along with the film Rabhasa, another movie that is going to be released is Power, which is expected to steal the spotlight a little from Rabhasa. Power is a film which will be starring Ravi Teja. It is going to release just a week after the release date of Rabhasa. Naturally, it will be taking away a bulk of the theatres from Rabhasa. The Kannada film, Power, is going to affect Rabhasa, mainly because of the fact that Karnataka is also a huge market for Telugu films. The collection of a film in the first few weeks is hugely important in sealing the fate of the film. However, the power- packed dialogues delivered by NTR are likely to pull the crowd and fetch good Rabhasa movie review.
