She played the character of a mother who lost her elder son in battle and is a lecturer on point. Many are of the view that Sarileru Neekevvaru belong to Mahesh Babu and Vijayshanti. Rashmika in Sarileru Neekevvaru has very less to no substantial role play other than being support to Mahesh Babu. This film has not explored any of her acting skills.

Sarileru Neekevvaru director has made a shocking depiction of a fake rape scene between the lead actors. Where in the female lead mother is scene narrating the never happened rape with full conviction. This type of portrayal is no way a picture of healthy society.
