Dhammu story at a glance

The rivalry between two families leads to killings and battle for supremacy in a village in Rayalaseema, Andhra Pradesh. Chandra (Jr. NTR) is an orphan who lives in the City and falls in love with Trisha, a rich kid. To match the status of Trisha, Chandra enters in to a pact with Raja (Kota) and later he shall be brought to the village as the heir to the Raja Vasireddy (Suman) family as Vijaya Simha. Trisha too follows him to the house. Later, Vijaya Simha comes to know about the bitter rivalry in the village and what happens next is the crux of the story.

    When the combination of NTR and Boyapati Srinu was announced, the movie has hit bulls’ eye in trade. Since Boyapati had delivered a super hit to Balakrishna with Simha, there were huge expectations riding on the movie in fans and audience but the movie could not reach the expectations. Finally, the movie turned out to be a loss.
