Hanuman Junction story at a glance

Krishna (Arjun) and Dasu (Jagapathi Babu) are orphans and are close friends since childhood. Their aims in life are rule the market yard of their village and also make it come true. Dasu has a sister Devi (Vijayalakshmi) and Krishna too treats her as his own sister. Devi falls in love with Shatruvu (Venu) but she wishes to marry him only with concern of Krishna and Dasu. Meanwhile Shatruvu joins as manager in KD & Co owned Kirshna and Dasu to convince them for marriage. Devi along with Shatruvu decides to search girl for each Krishna and Dasu so that their love can go smooth. Krishna has crush on Manjari (Sneha) since childhood and Sangeetha happens to fall in Krishna and Dasu’s home in a strange situation. Then comedy of errors happens and the relationships among the pair alter. How everything ends well form the rest.

    This is an out and out mass-masala entertainer, the comedy in the film clicked really well. The film was huge hit then.
  • Highlights

    • This is a remake of Malayalam blockbuster Thenkasipattanam (2000).
    • Editor Mohan son, M Raja made debut as director in Tollywood with this film. Till date this is his only Telugu movie too.
    • Jagapathi Babu and Arjun teamed up for the first time.
    • This is third combination of Jagapathi Babu with heroine Laya.
    • Singer Suresh Peters composed music for this film. This is his first and only Telugu movie as music director so far.
    • Jagapathi too teamed up with hero Venu for the first time. Later both together acted in two more film namely Sandade Sandadi and Kushi Kushiga.
    • Sandalwood (Kannada) popular actress Vijayalakshmi made her Tollywood debut. But she did not create any impact in Tollywood later.

    • LB Sriram and Venu get dressed as cow and enter the house of Krishna & Das was laugh-riot scene in this film.
    • This film is dubbed in Tamil Singakottai and released on 5 August 2011.
