Nuvvu Naaku Nachav story at a glance
Nuvvu Naaku Nachav marks the new entertaining and comedy dimension of Venkatesh as an actor. It also gave the current sensation Trivikram Srinivas a much needed break as a dialogue writer. Debutant Arti Agarwal’s glamour, Venkatesh’s brilliant performance, Sentiment, Non Stop comedy and Songs made this film one of the modern classics in Telugu Cinema.
Venkateshwarulu (Venkatesh) is a below average student from Anakapalli who comes to Murthy (Prakash Raj)’s residence on the insistence of his father (Chandramohan). When he arrives at this house, Nandini (Arti Agarwal) – the daughter of Murthy gets engaged to an NRI. Right from they see each other, Venkateshwarulu and Nandini always have differences and argue all the time. Murthy gets Venkateshwarulu a decent job and after few dramatic incidents, Nandini starts liking the simple living and entertaining lifestyle of Venkateshwarulu. She starts falling in love with him and proposes him as well at one instant. But owing to his father’s friendship with Murthy’s family- Venkateshwarulu finds it hard to accept her love. Though he admires Nandini secretly, he never expresses his feelings towards her. Rest of the film is about whether Nandini and Venkateshwarulu get together in the end- with their families acceptance.
Venkatesh is superbly likeable in the character of Venkateshwarulu. His character has fun, and at the same time strong ideals which come out only when a situation arrives. Debutant Arti Agarwal is rightly suited for the role of a pampered daughter and somebody very determined in loving the hero. Prakash Raj is fantastic as the father of Arti Agarwal and excels in comedy and sentimental scenes. Sudha is adequate as the mother of Arti Agarwal. Sunil is phenomenal as Banthi, the servant in Murthy’s house. Brahmanandam shines in a peculiar role excelling in comedy. M.S.Narayana is superb as a drunk relative and Hema is perfect as his wife. Asha Saini gets a memorable role as the initial flirting interest of Venkatesh. Prithvi Raj, Srilakshmi, Tanikella Bharani, Babu Mohan and so on acted in memorable roles. However it was Suhasini who acted as sister to Murthy gave a fantastic performance.
Dialogues by Trivikram Srinivas establish this film as one of the modern classics in Telugu Cinema. Every line has a punch, a thought provoking point without missing the comedy timing. Music by Koti is another asset for with great songs and mood lifting background score. Vijayabhaskar’s direction proves yet again about his tremendous ability to direct family oriented films.
