Sivamani story at a glance
Plot:
Sivamani (Nagarjuna) is an authentic cop in Vizag. He falls in love with Vasanta (Asin), who desires to become a playback vocalist. Dattu (Prakash Raj) is a local mafia gangster, whom Sivamani worries a lot. Incidentally, Vasanta is far related to Dattu and both of them belong to same place, Kerala. Meanwhile, Sivamani's mother (Sangeeta) gets paralyzed. Sivamani and Vasanta take her to Kerala for Ayurveda medication. Dattu will also be in Kerala, to take revenge by taking Vasanta away from Sivamani. Vasanta becomes mute after Dattu wounds her vocals. The rest of the story is about how Sivamani and Vasanta reunite with the aid of a local newspaper editor Pallavi (Rakshitha).

The movie got mixed response but Nagarjuna’s character was well received by masses. The movie completed 100 days in 35 centres and declared a hit.
