Kollywood Superstar Vijay’s latest movie Anna (Thalaivaa in Tamil) has hit screens today with lots of expectations. Amala Paul has played female lead opposite Vijay. This flick is completely an action entertainer with a mass backdrop story.

This flick is directed by AL Vijay and produced by Kasi. Tamil version of Anna, Thalaivaa didn’t release in Tamil Nadu due to some political issues and so, Vijay fans are moving to other states to watch their Star’s film on first day

AL Vijay, who has directed some of the best classical movies like Nanna in the past, has tried his fate to become a money-making director with Shiva Thandavam, but has failed to prove his mettle. With Anna, he does it again and fails. This film could have been a big mass entertainer but turned out as a damp squib due to the poor direction. And so, this movie has received poor  response and negative reviews for the narration, editing and music from critics all the way.

Young Composer G.V. Prakash Kumar has scored the music for Anna and Nirav Shah has handled the department of Cinematography.
