Remember this wholesome picture?

This was taken at Telugu Chalana Chitra Vajrotsavam in 2007 which features all set of actors from Tollywood. All the big wigs of Telugu film industry joined hands for the glorious event and made it a huge success but currently, that energy seems to be missing in our Tollywood folks.
However it is known that because of ongoing uproar in the state, our industry couldn’t wholly participate and perform at the centenary celebrations in Chennai but it has let down many of our industry people into a big disappointment. Right from Mohan Babu's letter to Narayana Murthy's humiliation, everything was like a sensation for film lovers.

Top league actors like Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Jr.NTR, Prabhas and Ram Charan didn’t make it to the grand event, where a lot of energy was missing.
Actors like Venkatesh and Nagarjuna were supposed to perform on-stage but they didn’t in view of ongoing agitations in Andhra Pradesh. Our Industry heads: Dasari Narayana Rao, A Kodanda Rami Reddy, Superstar Krishna, Vijaya Nirmala, Anjali Devi, G Adiseshagiri Rao and Chiranjeevi missed the event.
Moreover, actress Kavitha has shed tears over the celebrations for ignoring her and on the other side, Red star R. Narayana Murthy was openly insulted onstage by a Tollywood producer for questioning the standards of Indian Cinema celebrations. In prior to the celebrations, actor Mohan Babu had written a letter to the AP Film Chamber of Commerce, asking the industry not to participate in the celebrations.

All in all, Tollywood couldn’t showcase the potential at 100 years of Indian Cinema Celebrations like they did at Vajrotsavam.
