Puri Jagannadh seems to follow his guru Ram Gopal Varma not only in directional taking but also in controversies. He has been on the news for talking straightforwardly and not keeping anything in mind.  It is a needless fact to say that Cinema comprises of many sections. To get successful, one has to join either of those sections. If the person doesn’t like it, he has to be calm. But Puri seems to stay away from one particular section by his statements and deeds. Puri‘s image was totally at stake with Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu. While one complaint was hurting the sentiments of Telangana people, the other was utilizing Pawan’s image for his gains.  To make things worse, Puri even made a statement saying he would not work with Pawan Kalyan again. Though Puri might have had his reasons for saying so, it is a hasty and aggressive approach for a director to blatantly say he wouldn’t work with a star hero.

Cut from this- in Puri’s next venture Iddaramayilatho, he wrote a dialogue which says, “Prathi Vedhava Pawan Fan“(Every Idiot is a Pawan fan) that too in front of Allu Arjun. As a result, Puri became a villain for Mega Family’s camp. Pawan’s fans even said Puri Down and showed their disappointment towards the director. In that juncture, Puri had to leave his project having Nagababu’s son Varun Tej as the hero.  Some people even felt that Pawan did not like Puri working for a Mega Family Hero’s film and hence made this happen. Now Puri’s new target is Ram Charan. He threw a satire saying, “It was a mistake to accept Chirutha in my career. I would have chosen to make Pokiri Hindi remake instead.  With my fault, Charan became luckily a hero!” Because of these, even Ram Charan started feeling negative about Puri.

Frankly, Puri always had a good rapport with the Mega Family. He showed lot of admiration towards Mega Family after his first film Badri. He made films with Bunny and Ram Charan. He even said if he gets a chance he would surely make Chiranjeevi’s 150th film. When things were going on well, suddenly everything changed. Because of this Puri’s attitude toward Mega Family is becoming obvious. With the new comments on Charan, Mega Family fans are furious on Puri. Bunny and Charan will definitely not make films with Puri. It would be too much to expect for Pawan to make a film with Puri after the latter blatantly saying he would not make a film again. With all this, Puri is away from the Mega Camp. Does this estrangement and emptiness do well to Puri? Will he take it as a chance by working with other top heroes and gain success? We will have to wait and see.
