Well we know of that Mozart of Madras who can mesmerize us with his music, who can take the Hollywood bulls by horns and win international for his country! But, not many should know facet of A.R. Rahman.
This premier musician turns producer and shall be producing a feature film very soon on his production house (supposedly titled YM Movies). He has even co-written the story and is right in quest of the right person to direct it. He has been apparently giving a thought about direction from quite some time. And his dreams of storytelling would be coming true very soon. Needless to say, he would only compose music for his film! This film is likely to take a shape in 2014. So, next year has already made its place in history!
