We heard of film releases getting delayed. But here is a special case where the film’s start is being delayed. And it’s a pleasant surprise for cine goers that it is a Venkatesh film.

Victory Venkatesh is the most undisputed star in Tollywood. But, the moment he announced Raadha with a fledgling director Maruti, there sprung up a controversy over the originality of the story. A writer named Surendra Krishna claimed to own the story which Maruti allegedly to have copied. Later Maruti lashed out such allegations in a press meet. But the issue hasn’t been resolved yet and is still on the table of the Writers Association and industry bigwigs waiting for the verdict.

Now according to a source, Raadha is likely to be delayed due to reasons best known to the makers. Meanwhile Venkatesh will be busy with Drishyam [remake of blockbuster Malayalam film by the same name], directed by Jeetu Joseph. Venky will be seen reprising the role of Mohan Lal in the original while yesteryear heroine Meena will star opposite him.

Hope, Raadha leaps out of these glitches and goes onto the wheels in the near future.
