We all know about the tragic earthquake that shattered the beautiful country Nepal. The death toll increased to nearly 10,000 so far and several parts of the country along with Nepal have suffered unimaginable property loss.
Help from every nook and corner of the world is slowly reaching out to Nepal and wishes, prayers are pouring out to the grieved. Our Telugu film industry which was always on the upfront to reach out to the needy during catastrophes like these has once again stood up for the cause.
Ram Charan has already announced his support to Nepal. Charan in association with Apollo hospitals has promised to send relief material to Nepal. Now, Daggubati Rana started a fundraising chain by spreading the messages to all of his colleagues, friends and fans through his Twitter handle. The objective behind this initiative is to provide basic survival kits to the people of Nepal.
Responding to his tweets, Prakash Raj, Anchor Pradeep and others have also announced their support to the victims.
However, the rest of the industry needs to come forward to make it big. TFI has risen about Rs 12 crores for the victims of Hudhud cyclone through Memu Saitham event and we need to see if our industry big heads on these lines.
