As democratic and secular as we may be, the fact remains that we have constantly faced troubles from our neighbour Pakistan many times. And sometimes, the consequences have been quite fatal. One such instance is that of the farmer Sarabjit Singh who was mistaken as a spy by Pakistani army and tortured in prison for 23 years before he was killed in the cell.

Now, a film is being made based on his life story and most importantly, the focus would be on his sister Dalbir Kaur who fought relentlessly to get Sarabjit released from jail and get him back home. News is that this movie is going to be helmed by Omang Kumar who helmed the hit movie Mary Kom.

The icing on the cake is, the role of Dalbir is going to be essayed by the gorgeous green eyed beauty Aishwarya Bachchan. The intense and emotional saga of Sarabjit had shaken the nation for a very long time and now the time has come to relive it and bring it to those who are not aware of this.
