After Bollywood, the second largest industry in India is Tollywood and there was a time when they surpassed Bollywood in terms of the number of films made. This year, the Telugu industry has reached a new milestone. Reliable reports have confirmed that so far a whopping 600 crores has been spent by the producers.
We are just halfway through the year so doubling it, the amount spent should be 1200 crores but thanks to the two magnum opuses Baahubali and Rudramadevi 3D, the estimation is that this year the budget spent on Telugu movies would be touching 1500 crores.
