Whenever two big budget movies are at loggerheads, it tends to give rise to a comparative analysis. As such, the industry is taking enough measures to ensure such clash doesn’t happen but this time it looks inevitable. This is between the magnum opus Baahubali and the new entrant Srimanthudu.
As such, Baahubali has created a revolution at the box office and despite releasing more than three weeks ago, the film is going strong at the theatres. Meanwhile, analysts say the arrival of Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu is bound to cause an impact on Baahubali’s collections. If Srimanthudu gets a hit talk then the impact would be more.
Despite that hiccup, the market gurus are confident that Baahubali will pick up once again and continue its success run. So far, Baahubali has grossed over 500 crores and it is aiming to touch the 600 crores mark. What remains to be seen is how much of a speed breaker will Srimanthudu prove to be.
