The peculiar project Manjhi- The Mountain Man starring two extremely talented actors Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte in lead roles has been creating lot of buzz since the time of it’s trailer release.The main reason for this buzz is the presence of talented actors and the unique theme of the film.
In order to encourage such interesting films, Uttarkhan government has ordered tax waive for it! The film is set in the backdrop of a remote village called Gehlar, located in Gaya district of Bihar. A villager named Manjhi’s wife expires because of the lack of roadway facilities from the place. The distraught Manjhi decides to construct the road by his own with the help of a hammer and breaks the tough terrain to create a road.
