The decade of 80s remains very special to every Telugu film goer and critic alike. The main reason for this is because, movies from this decade had a remarkable transformation and introduced some memorable actors to the film industry who actively work even now. It redefined many aspects of filmmaking such as scripts, camera work, acting style, music and what not! This decade also introduced international fashions through our stars who adorned them!
In order to reminisce that memorable decade, yesteryear actress Suhasini has come up with an interesting idea of annual reunion of predominantly south Indian film stars. This idea propped up six years ago and ever since, these stars meet up on the last week of August every year in Chennai- Cinema hub of South India during the 80s! They even plan up a color code for their dressing every year to make it even more fun!
The latest meet up this year happened in a special guest house near Olive Beach, Chennai on 29th August. Yesteryear actors like Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, Suman and Naresh from Tollywood attended the event. Versatile actors such as Mohan Lal, Satya Raj, Jayaram also attended this memorable meeting.
However, the biggest highlight this year is nothing but the mass dance moves of Megastar Chiranjeevi along with his contemporaries such as Venkatesh, Mohan Lal and Satya Raj! The entire 80s film fraternity had a fun party filled with dances and singing and rejoiced their memories.
