Rs 50cr fine to India's Biggest Blockbuster?

Bajrangi Bhaijaan movie is considered to be one of the biggest blockbusters in 2015. Well this film is now facing a Rs 50 Cr copyright infringement law suit in the Bombay High Court.

Going into the details, Mahim Joshi (TV Producer) filed a copyright infringement suit against Bajrani Bhaijaan film makers. He also mentioned that BB story was registered by him with the Indian Film and Television Producers Council and the Association of Motion Pictures and TV Programme Producers much earlier in 2007. Listening to the hearing, the Bombay High Court ordered Bajrangi Bhaijaan makers to file all the replies until the next hearing on the 20th October 2015.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan is believed to be given by star writer Vijayendra Prasad (Rajamouli's father). On the whole, this film set huge records in terms of collections and even the television broadcasting rights raked about Rs 40 crores. We need to wait and see what is in hold for the India's biggest blockbuster!
