We usually hear about Mega heroes and their film but from now on we need to get tuned to listen it from Mega heroine Niharika Konidela as well.
Starting off as a TV host, Niharika has carved a niche for herself and she is all set to foray into the big game with her debut film Oka Manasu that has flagged off recently. Now according to latest insider reports, Niharika shall feature in the Telugu remake of Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan & Irfan Khan starrer Piku.
Piku is considered to be one of the best unconventional slice-of-life yet commercially successful Hindi films made in this year. This movie witnessed some impeccable performances from Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Irrfan Khan and director Shoojit Sircar has portrayed father-daughter relation and the problem of constipation in the best realistic way possible.
This film’s plot has the capability of reaching wider audience and this has apparently propelled popular production house Suresh productions to remake it in Telugu. Earlier Venkatesh & Samantha were considered for this remake. But now she is replaced by Mega heroine Niharika Konidela and this remake is going to be helmed by well-known director K Vijay Bhaskar.
Anyhow an official confirmation is still awaited in this regard. If everything goes well, this is going to be yet another path-breaking film in Telugu.
