You have a very good idea on how technology has influenced Indian cinema in the last two decades and raised the standards. While that is being seen extensively in regular feature films, the situation is quite different when it comes to animated movies.
Apparently, there are many nice animation movies coming from abroad especially from Hollywood and they become big box office hits here. The point is, India has great technicians and even abroad also Indian technicians are there working for prestigious Hollywood studios.
If that is the case, then why can’t we come up with proper animated movies on our own and with a decent budget. Some of the cine pundits feel at one point we lacked the infrastructure but today we are capable enough to come up with high quality animated flicks. Well, it is only a matter of taking it up then.
