Among the many powerful and popular film families of the Tollywood circuit, the Akkineni family has a top place. The reason for that is the legendary Akkineni Nageswara Rao who built an empire and this is being well handled by his son Akkineni Nagarjuna. Even Nag has achieved great stardom.
However, that has not been the case with both his sons Naga Chaitanya and Akkineni Akhil. Of course, both the lads are still in their growing stages of career but the Akkineni team is not taking further chances. So, it is now heard that Akhil’s second movie is going to be with logic director Sukumar.
Incidentally, when Naga Chaitanya was going through a low patch, it was Sukumar’s movie 100% Love which gave Chaitu the much needed success. On the other hand, Akhil bit the dust with his ambitious debut Akhil but now many feel in Sukumar’s hands only, the hit will come.
